Wolfburn Whisky Lovers Nagoya 2025 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 57% ABV
Wolfburn Whisky Lovers Nagoya 2025 is an exclusive single cask single malt produced by the Caithness distillery specifically for the Whisky Lovers Nagoya festival in Japan. Distilled in February 2015 and bottled in September 2024 from Sherry Hogshead #136.
Presented with natural color and without chill-filtration, the cask maturation yields a rich amber hue and a deeply decadent profile, balancing Wolfburn's signature smooth, coastal spirit with vibrant aromas of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and sweet spice, followed by a robust palate of raisins, toasted oak, warming cinnamon, and a lingering sherry-influenced finish.
Distillery Heritage
Wolfburn distillery, the most northerly on the Scottish mainland, is nestled in the town of Thurso. Founded in 1821 by William Smith, the original distillery operated for around 30 years before its closure. The current Wolfburn distillery, established in January 2013, stands just 350 metres from the ruins of its predecessor, continuing the legacy of exceptional whisky craftsmanship.
