Wolfburn Vintage Bentley 8 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 46% ABV
Wolfburn Vintage Bentley 8 Year Old is a special limited-edition release from the northernmost distillery on the Scottish mainland in Thurso, Caithness. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration or artificial coloring, this 70cl Highland single malt was aged for eight years to pay homage to classic automotive craftsmanship, as reflected by the British flag icon and the tag "Viscera Et Gloria" (Guts and Glory) on its label. Matured in high-quality oak casks, it exhibits Wolfburn’s signature soft, coastal character with sweet aromas of honey, orchard fruits, and vanilla cream on the nose, opening into a smooth palate layered with subtle citrus, butterscotch, soft oak spices, and a delicate hint of peat smoke on the finish.
Distillery Heritage
Wolfburn distillery, the most northerly on the Scottish mainland, is nestled in the town of Thurso. Founded in 1821 by William Smith, the original distillery operated for around 30 years before its closure. The current Wolfburn distillery, established in January 2013, stands just 350 metres from the ruins of its predecessor, continuing the legacy of exceptional whisky craftsmanship.
