Bottled around Burns Night to mark 13 years since spirit first flowed at the revived distillery in 2013, the Wolfburn 2026 Anniversary Series 12 Year Old is an unpeated, single-cask Highland single malt. Drawn from Cask No. 811—a single sherry butt filled in December 2013—it yielded 874 bottles presented at a natural cask strength of 55.2% ABV. Rich and dark amber in color, it pairs signature notes of dried fruits, raisins, and dark chocolate with a velvety, syrupy mouthfeel and a lingering sherry-driven finish.

Distillery Heritage

Wolfburn distillery, the most northerly on the Scottish mainland, is nestled in the town of Thurso. Founded in 1821 by William Smith, the original distillery operated for around 30 years before its closure. The current Wolfburn distillery, established in January 2013, stands just 350 metres from the ruins of its predecessor, continuing the legacy of exceptional whisky craftsmanship.
