Wire Works Rum Cask Finish Batch 07/2022 Single Malt English Whisky, 70cl, 57.2% ABV

Crafted by White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire, the Wire Works Rum Cask Finish (Batch 07/2022) is a lightly peated English single malt whisky bottled at a robust 57.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Maturing initially in first-fill Bourbon barrels before receiving a finish in rum casks, this expression is presented with natural colour and without chill filtration. The rum cask influence imparts vibrant tropical notes of ripe banana, dark sugar, and buttery caramel, seamlessly layered over rich vanilla oak, warm baking spices, and a delicate, lingering thread of peat smoke.
