Crafted by White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire, the Wire Works Necessary Evil Finish (Batch 05/2022) is a lightly peated English single malt whisky bottled at 51.3% ABV in a 70cl format. Initially matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels before being finished in casks previously used to age Thornbridge Brewery’s 'Necessary Evil' Imperial Stout, this release is presented with natural colour and without chill filtration. The stout cask influence introduces rich notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, and toasted malt that blend seamlessly with sweet vanilla, dried fruit, and a subtle, lingering backdrop of peat smoke.
