Stokerij de Molenberg Fado Vivo 2015 is the 2nd anniversary special release from the acclaimed Belgian distillery, bottled at 46% ABV in a 50cl format. Distilled from the mash of Gouden Carolus Tripel beer, this unique single malt spent three years maturing in classic bourbon casks before finishing in aged Portuguese Tawny Port pipes. The Portuguese wood influence gives the whisky a vibrant reddish hue and a fruit-forward profile—bursting with sweet aromas of ripe plums, red berries, and vanilla that lead to a smooth, warming palate of dark raisins, tropical fruit notes, and subtle oak spice.
