Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength 2023 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 54.1% ABV

This is the 2023 release Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength, and as ever, it's an impressive drop of Campbeltown single malt. This edition matured in 60% Bourbon, 40% Sherry for a dozen years before being bottled with an ABV of 54.1%.

The family owned Springbank is unique in that it remains the only distillery in Scotland where 100% of the production process is carried out on site, and while it produces three distinct styles (in Springbank, Longrow, and Hazelburn), its eponymous Springbank expression still accounts for the lion's share of production. A medium peated, two and a half times distilled spirit, Springbank is complex, robust and never boring!
