Lagavulin 1987 Distillers Edition 2003 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 43% ABV

The 2003 release of Lagavulin Distillers Edition, distilled 1987 and finished in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry. The annual Lagavulin expression has spent a second maturation period in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.

John Johnston established the first of two distilleries at Lagavulin in 1816. The following year Archibald Campbell completed a second distillery. Johnston takes over both distilleries in 1825.
