Jura 1973 30 Year Old Single Cask #3155 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 55% ABV
Jura 1973 30 Year Old Single Cask #3155 is an exceptionally rare, natural cask-strength single malt distilled on 10th November 1973. Maturing for three decades in an Oloroso sherry cask sourced from the famous Gonzalez Byass bodega in Jerez, Spain, this limited release yielded just 468 bottles.
The nose is rich and complex, opening with aromas of old leather, cigar box, dark dried fruits, toffee, and subtle camphor. On the palate, its full-bodied 55% ABV strength carries deep notes of rum-soaked raisins, Seville orange marmalade, nutmeg, and warming ginger, balanced by a distinct Hebridean coastal salinity. It concludes with a long, dry, and resinous finish marked by dark chocolate, vintage oak tannins, walnuts, and lingering salty liquorice.
