Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion combined first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, ex-bourbon hogsheads, and Spanish Rioja wine casks to shape its rich profile. Bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl format, it seamlessly balances Highland Park’s signature aromatic heather honey peat smoke with vibrant notes of ripe red berries, dark cherry, and dried citrus peel. On the palate, plush dark fruit and toasted almonds interweave with dark chocolate, warm oak spices, and a delicate maritime salinity, culminating in a long, warming, and refined finish.
