Glenury Royal 28 Year Old Rare Malts 1970
Glenury Royal was founded in 1825 by local MP, Captain Robert Barclay and once powered entirely by water, this now closed distillery takes is name from picturesque Glen Ury in Kincardineshire.
The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.
One of the few official bottlings of Glenury Royal released at 28 years old within the famous Rare Malts Selection. Distilled in 1970 and bottled in the October 1999 out-turn.
