The Bushmills 2010 Cognac Cask (Causeway Collection) is a premium, triple-distilled single malt Irish whiskey initially matured in a combination of Oloroso Sherry butts and Bourbon barrels before undergoing a rich finish in rare French Limousin oak Cognac casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, this expressions yields a complex, fruit-forward profile; an inviting nose of warm cinnamon and honey leads to a palate packed with ripe pear, caramel, and dried figs. It concludes with a long, warming finish that beautifully balances delicate oak with the sweetness of stewed orchard fruits. Distilled 2010, rechasked 2018 and bottled 2020.
