We use a number of delivery partners, dependent on the location the goods being sent, size, weight and requirement for when the order is needed.
Standard delivery within the UK is provided by DPD, on average, this is 48 Hour delivery service, Monday - Friday, however, cannot be guaranteed. All customers will receive a text or email from DPD with a 2 Hour delivery time slot, and the opportunity to re-schedule at a more convenient time or address. Occasionally this service can take up to 72 Hours, however, please contact us immediately after 72 Hours if you have not heard anything.
Standard delivery within the EU is within 5-7 working days and is fully tracked and insured. This is a tracked service. The courier company we use for EU deliveries is UPS.
In the United States of America, we can deliver to the following states (Please note if the state is NOT included, we are currently unable to deliver to this location at present. We require someone of legal age under local licensing laws to be present at the delivery address to sign for acceptance of the goods. Goods are dispatched by a third party courier and their terms and conditions apply.
Old and Rare Whisky will have paid the full amount of UK Excise Duty on all goods shipped to international markets. The customer is wholly responsible for any and all local customs and import duties and taxes attaching to the goods shipped. The customer warrants and represents to Old and Rare Whisky that there are no import restrictions applying to our goods and that all such goods shipped to the customer are being legally imported to the customer’s local market, tax and duty paid. The customer shall indemnify Old and Rare Whisky from and against the costs of any claim against Old and Rare Whisky arising from a breach of the customer’s warranty as stated above.
Old and Rare Whisky, where appropriate, will complete a customs declaration form declaring ‘Specialist Malt Whisky, No Commercial Value’ and stating replacement value. However, customers may be liable for taxes/duties in their own countries.
Whisky is sent entirely at the customers own risk as we are unable to guarantee safe delivery.
