Springbank 10 Year Old Sherry Wood Pedro Ximenez Cask released in 2023, and as ever, it's an impressive drop of Campbeltown single malt. Distilled July 2012 and bottled October 2022. One of 10,800 bottles.
The family owned Springbank is unique in that it remains the only distillery in Scotland where 100% of the production process is carried out on site, and while it produces three distinct styles (in Springbank, Longrow, and Hazelburn), its eponymous Springbank expression still accounts for the lion's share of production. A medium peated, two and a half times distilled spirit, Springbank is complex, robust and never boring!
