This ongoing series from Bruichladdich is the most heavily peated whisky in the world. Named after James Brown's farm that is situated above Port Charlotte, this Brobdingnagian whisky deftly lives up to its description as, "The iron fist in the velvet glove". Bottled in 2012 with PPM of 169.

Bruichladdich distillery, renowned for its commitment to innovation and quality, underwent a remarkable revival in 2000 under the guidance of indie bottler Murray McDavid and later maestro Jim McEwan. Embracing experimental cask management and diverse distillation techniques, Bruichladdich has crafted both unpeated and heavily peated whiskies, including the celebrated Port Charlotte and Octomore ranges. This private cask embodies the distillery's dedication to creating rare and exclusive whiskies that cater to enthusiasts seeking unparalleled craftsmanship.
