Springbank 10 Year Old Sherry Wood Palo Cortado Cask released in 2023, and as ever, it's an impressive drop of Campbeltown single malt. This is the second in Springbank's five-part Sherry Wood series.
Distilled July 2013 and bottled September 2023. One of 10,200 bottles.
The family owned Springbank is unique in that it remains the only distillery in Scotland where 100% of the production process is carried out on site, and while it produces three distinct styles (in Springbank, Longrow, and Hazelburn), its eponymous Springbank expression still accounts for the lion's share of production. A medium peated, two and a half times distilled spirit, Springbank is complex, robust and never boring!
