Ladyburn

Ladyburn Distillery was a fleeting chapter in Scotland’s whisky history, nestled within the Girvan grain complex in South Ayrshire. Founded by William Grant & Sons in 1966, it operated for less than a decade before being dismantled in 1975 to make way for expansion. With just four stills, Ladyburn produced a light, floral Lowland single malt primarily destined for blends. Rare bottlings—often labeled “Ayrshire”—occasionally emerge, prized for their delicate character and scarcity.
