The Easy Drinking Whisky Company was founded with support from Edrington to create blended malts that used descriptive names to simplify Scotch whisky for consumers. In 2002, former Macallan master distiller David ‘Robbo’ Robertson teamed up with brothers Jon and Mark Geary to launch whiskies with approachable names such as The Rich Spicy One, The Smokey Peaty One, and The Smooth Sweeter One.
