Old Pulteney WK209 "Good Hope" is a rare, heavily sherried Highland single malt originally released as a travel retail exclusive and named after a historic 1948 Wick fishing boat. Matured exclusively in first-fill European oak ex-sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV, it opens with a rich nose of dark chocolate, toffee, dried fruits, and a hint of coastal air. The full-bodied palate delivers a sweet wave of raisins and prunes balanced by warm baking spices, black pepper, and Old Pulteney's signature maritime saltiness. It concludes with a long, dry finish of black coffee, roasted nuts, and a salty trace of red berries.
