In 2001 Highland Park bottled two single sherry casks from October 1973, this is from cask #11167. The distillery released the two sister casks as an experiment to illustrate the changes made in the wood.  The casks were filled, matured for 28 years and emptied on 22nd February 2001 at the same time.

Highland Park distillery is based in Kirkwall, Orkney and is the most northern distillery in Scotland.
