Inchgower Distillery was established in 1871 by Alexander Wilson. Located in Buckie, Banffshire – Speyside, the distillery gets its water source from the springs on the Menduff Hill. The distillery was purchased by Arthur Bell & Sons in 1936 and is currently part of the Diageo portfolio. The 100 years queen mother decanter, released in 2000, celebrates Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother 100th birthday. The Queen Mother was born on the 4th August 1900 and died on the 30th March 2002 aged 101.
