Benromach 35 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 43% ABV

A rare and historic Heritage Collection release, distilled in the early 1980s long before the distillery was revived by Gordon & MacPhail. Exclusively matured in first-fill sherry casks, this golden-amber whisky presents an incredibly sophisticated and warm nose of orange marmalade, cinnamon bun, and classic old-whisky notes of beeswax polish and leather. The unctuous palate opens sweet with honey, tropical kiwi, and dense fruitcake, shifting into an evolving mid-palate of white chocolate, dried tobacco, and soft menthol before concluding with a long, smooth finish of charred oak, raisins, and zesty citrus peel.
