Garnheath Grain 1973 24 Year Old Signatory Vintage 10th Anniversary Single Grain Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 56.8% ABV
A very rare bottling of 1973 vintage Garnheath Single Grain. The distillery, which was located in the Moffat complex but closed in 1986 and was demolished in 1988. Distiled 30th December 1973 and bottled 8th June 1998 from cask no. 393688 at 24 years old.
Bottled by Signatory as part of a gift pack containing 2 glasses to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Signatory in 1998.
Signatory Vintage was founded by Andrew Symington in 1999. After discovering single cask single malt whisky while managing Prestonfield House Hotel Andrew bought his first cask, a Glenlivet 1968, and is now one of the largest independent bottlers in Scotland. As of 2002 Signatory Vintage Whisky company is also the owner of the Edradour distillery.
